At BAYADA Behavioral Health, we are a non-profit employer who believes in providing education and training to help you learn and grow in your career. Through our BAYADA RBT Academy, we give you the training you need to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT).
BAYADA RBT Academy provides:
A 40+ hour paid training program to prepare you to become a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT)
Receive high-quality training grounded in evidence-based practices in adult learning and applied behavior analysis (ABA) including:
BAYADA University web-based courses
Live lectures
Hands-on training and structured observation
BAYADA study guides to prepare you for the RBT exam
How You’ll Make an Impact:
RBTs work with individuals with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality. Our Oahu Behavior Analysis Team provides care in our center/clinic, in clients’ homes, and in the community.
Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment plan
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families, and pre-school staff
Implement behavior therapy techniques
Document interventions and progress towards goals
Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan
Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals
Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years of age
Have a High School Diploma or GED
No experience necessary
Complete RBT Academy and pass the RBT Exam to become an RBT with BAYADA!
