Responsible with minimal supervision for Plant Engineering activities on multiple pieces of building infrastructure and production equipment
Provide technical expertise including data analysis, planning and execution to improve equipment availability and asset utilization for the site
Identify and implement cost reduction and method improvement opportunities
Identify, specify, source and purchase machines and equipment
Undertake fault finding on plant and equipment
Identify and make improvements to improve reliability of equipment and reduce reoccurring faults
Create project plans to support plant rearrangement, installation, improvement and cost reduction projects
Implement and drive Reliability Excellence (REX) on critical equipment
Creation and maintenance of technical files for new and existing equipment and to support improvements made
Supervision of sub contractors ensuring project implementation to time & cost whilst complying with all company EH&S requirements
Purchasing parts & equipment for improvement works, and collating receipts and raising purchase requisitions

Qualified to a HNC or equivalent in Electrical and / or Mechanical Engineering + a minimum of 1 yearâs relevant technical experience within an Engineering environment would be advantageous though development opportunities may be available for a candidate with other existing engineering qualifications and experience
CAD experience, business system experience such as Oracle and MP2, Automation experience would be advantageous
Ability to collect & analyze overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) on critical equipment
Ability to identify and solve to root cause, repetitive reliability problems and write maintenance procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Aware of Microsoft Project.
Multiskilled or experienced in both electrical and mechanical disciplines is an advantage.
Fluent use of English language (both verbal and written)
