As a Designer – Detailer, you will a ssure that dsm-firmenich products are of consistent and high quality by designing dsm-firmenich molds, products, tools, and fixtures; implementing new engineering design tools and training staff on their use; and providing assistance as required to the use of CAD systems for Engineering Change Notices. We are a market leader in regenerative medicine and in the supply of biomaterials for medical devices. Responsibilities:

• Support the development/design of molds, products, tools, and fixtures.

• Interface and coordinate activities with internal colleagues, and vendors, as required.

• Plan and make layouts, develop details, and make specifications and parts lists.

• Ensure the accuracy and utility of all drawings, procedures, specifications, measurements, and computations.

• Provide assistance with drafting and drawing maintenance.

• Complete other tasks as assigned by Model Shop Manager.

  You Bring:

• High School graduate or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience with CAD systems, Solid Works and / or Creo

• Mold, Tool & Product design /documentation. Toolroom / Engineering interaction and Medical Device industry experience a plus.

• Support the development/design of molds, products, tools, and fixtures.

• Interface and coordinate activities with internal colleagues, and vendors, as required.

• Plan and make layouts, develop details, and make specifications and parts lists.
