Job Description

About the role:

As a Government Pricing Senior Analyst, you will work on the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Initial, 30-day, quarterly and annual non-Federal average manufacturers price (NFamp), FSS and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP) calculations applicable to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense and TriCare programs. You will perform the end-to-end calculation and initial analysis of price calculations for NFamp, FSS, FCP, industrial funding fee (IFF) and Public Health Service prices (PHS).

How you will contribute:

  • Comprehensive understanding of each GP functional requirement specification used to derive the stated methodology.

  • Support the administration of all ancillary contracts (TriCare, Blanket Purchase Agreements, Uniform Formulary, etc.) related to Federal Supply Schedule.

  • Mentor and train Government Analysts to calculate and report the various price calculations including the review of the functional specification requirements, price reporting processes, model processing in GP, and preparation of summary sheets.

  • Understanding of government pricing calculation methodology, system functions and ability to calculate various government prices.

  • Communicate pricing results to various government agencies and internal departments required by statute or contract.

  • Investigate and resolve any/all “out of variance” issues on NFamp and FSS Variotion reports.

  • Provide management with business/financial analysis for regular price reporting (i.e. NFamp and FSS Price Calculation summary) and off-trend event analysis for timely and effective decision making.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis on pricing results as requested by Finance or the Business Unit(s); analyze and document financial and other supporting data related to government contracts, NFamp and FCP.

  • Work with team to ensure smooth operation of the GP system.

  • Help with all research projects for future contract management data initiatives.

  • Assist Finance with questions concerning payment tracking and documentation and accruals.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 3 years experience in the area of Government Pricing.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities to maximize results and pay close attention to project deadlines and schedules.

  • Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$84,000.00 - $132,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
