Description

Robert Half currently has an opening for a Customer Service Representative working in the Insurance department of a mortgage company. The Customer Service Representative position requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. You will be working in the insurance department, supporting customers heavily with phone calls and email correspondences.

* Looking for a candidate that has prior experience within a mortgage industry*

Responsibilities:

• Handle multiple phone calls and emails to follow up with customers regarding their past due payments

• Update customer accounts and perform data entry tasks

• Send out reminders about delinquent payments via email, voicemail, and mail

• Maintain a detailed record of customer interactions and transactions

• Use your knowledge of MS Office Suite to efficiently manage and update customer accounts

• Demonstrate a keen attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Utilize your customer service skills to provide excellent service to all customers

• Learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating tech-savviness

• Work in a team-oriented environment, supporting other team members as necessary

• Assist in other duties as assigned, providing comprehensive support to the collections team.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role

• Looking for someone with some sort of mortgage experience.

• Can handle working in a fast pace environment and handling heavily phone calls.

• Proven skills in customer service and consumer collections are essential

• Proficiency in MS Office is required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively

• Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Willingness to continuously improve service skills and product knowledge to deliver high-quality customer service
