We seek a highly organized, self motivated individual for the 2024-2025 school year with excellent written and verbal communication skills who has experience working with the geriatric population in a long term care setting. The successful candidate will teach program that prepares students to apply knowledge and skills in the health-realted occupations at Bucks County Technical High School, a comprehensive high school in Lower Bucks County. Includes instruction in such areas as health and medical services, pharmaceutical and medical instruments and supplies, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Clinical education is an integral part of the curriculum. Strong assessment and clinical skills are essential for the program.
Valid PDE teaching certificate in Health-Related Technology [2214] or RN license in Pennsylvania with four years of documented experience in Acute Care and Long-Term Care. Successful candidate will need to complete the Natioanl Nurse Aide Competency Assessment and meet PDE certification requirements. Also, will need to complete Temple University Vocational I and II Certifications.
