Family Service Association is seeking a full time (40hrs) per week experienced Recruiting Coordinator.  The hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.  

Job Summary

Responsible for providing recruitment strategies and full lifecycle recruitment processes in order to recruit high caliber talent to meet the diverse and inclusive staffing requirements of the Agency functions via internal and external applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, maintain and organize personnel job req.’s, enter job postings, reference checking and hiring process. 

  • Identify and source candidates through internal and external channels ensuring positions are filled with high caliber individuals.

  • Provides qualified pre-screened candidates to hiring manager, schedules and coordinates interviews and manages multiple priorities.

  • Weekly reporting on all recruiting activities and recommending weekly Indeed Sponsored jobs, Better Teams, and other sources.

  • Influence and drive the implementation of talent acquisition plans and strategies, assuring a qualified, diverse pool of candidates to fill open positions as well as talent gaps identified through the succession planning process.

  • Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with recruiting sources to develop candidate pools to enable successful resourcing.

  • Creates and maintains a prospective candidate pool for all agency programs. Source candidates through applicant tracking system, social media networking with colleges and local community colleges, state career centers and career fairs.

  • Participates in and provides support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs. Maintain and monitor applicant tracking systems in order to keep applicant data up to date.

  • Assist in maintaining all personnel files including restricted and confidential material.

  • Maintain confidentiality of office.

  • Maintain open communication with Director of Human Resources and apprise same of any potential problems.

  • Respond to reasonable expectations of the Agency and/or supervisor. This will include changes to recruiting as needs change within the Agency.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have 2-3 years of recruiting experience with exposure to various areas of the recruiting functions from sourcing, interviewing and thoroughly qualifying and vetting candidates. Must be highly responsive and detailed oriented. Experience with applicant tracking software programs.  Experience working with HR database required. Familiarity with online job websites and internet recruitment.                                                                                                                                           Effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
