The Senior Director, Strategic Enrollment Management provides strategic
vision, administrative direction, and direct supervision to the
college\'s enrollment areas, including Admissions, Financial Aid, and
the Registrar. The Senior Director designs and advances strategic
initiatives that support the college\'s strategic enrollment goals,
particularly related to new student recruitment and re-enrollment
campaigns. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop,
implement, and assess a comprehensive strategic recruitment plan for all
Bristol campuses that is data informed and aligns with the mission and
vision of the college. - Establish and implement short- and long-range
departmental goals and objectives that align with the strategic
recruitment plan and institutional strategic plan. - Implement statewide
initiatives and funding sources aimed at increasing enrollment,
including MassReconnect, Early College, and Tuition Equity, - Implement
technological resources that scale, amplify, and measure the
effectiveness of enrollment initiatives. - Partner with the Academic
Leadership Team to inform the appropriate mix of program offerings and
to implement program-level enrollment initiatives. - Collaborate with
members of the SSEM Leadership Team to develop and implement a seamless
onboarding experience for new and returning students. - Oversee efforts
related to the college\'s compliance with Title IV regulations, in
conjunction with the Registrar and Director of Financial Aid. - Prepare
and monitor annual operational budgets for all departmental programs and
activities. - Monitor, evaluate, analyze and enhance operational
effectiveness and implement changes as required for continuous
improvement. - Develop a mechanism for collecting data to assess the
effectiveness of the services provided as they relate to enrollment and
retention. - Engage in meaningful data analysis including disaggregation
of student data to assess equitable outcomes for students. - Provide
vision, administrative direction, supervision to Admissions, Financial
Aid, Registrar, and Navigator staff members at all locations. - Oversee
the recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of personnel in
respective departments at all Bristol locations. - Evaluate performance
of staff to ensure departmental objectives, goals, and tasks are met. -
Conduct regular staff meetings, as well as opportunities for training
and professional development for advising and success staff members.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of a Master\'s degree in higher
education or related field.* - Progressive leadership, administrative
and supervisory experience, with a minimum of four (4) years of
experience in enrollment management, admissions, financial aid,
registrar and student affairs. - Strong interpersonal, verbal/written
communication, and organization skills that reflect inclusiveness,
adaptiveness, and flexibility. - Demonstrated proficiency with student
information systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications. - Prior
budget management experience. - Reliable transportation in order to
travel to and from meetings, trainings, or campus and community
locations as required. - Ability to work occasional nights and/or
weekends. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Prior supervisory experience in a
collective bargaining environment. - Prior experience working at a
multi-campus community college. - Demonstrated knowledge of strategic
enrollment and/or strategic recruitment planning. - Prior experience
working in or overseeing a financial aid office, with particular focus
on Title IV compliance. - Experience working with one or more of the
following software packages: Slate, Ellucian Banner, Degree Works,
Argos, and EAB/Navigate. - Ability to communicate in a language in
addition to English.
