Core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Assist in upholding the standards of Jing Yan\ Participate in kitchen meetings to ensure our company vision is on track\ Assist in opening and or closing the restaurant\ Full responsibility for the station: e.g. ordering, inventory, checking the quality of ingredients, letting the chef know in a timely matter if there is a count on an item during service\ Keeping a neat and organized station during service\ Organizing station refrigerator\ Keeping a detailed order and prep sheet for the next service\ Prepping food before shift in a timely manner\ Following prep and cooking recipes and procedures\ Following company cleaning procedures: wiping down all surfaces after service, sweeping the floor during/after service, wiping down fry station equipment, bringing all tools to dish before close to be washed, mopping the kitchen, taking out aprons and linens at the end of shift\ Ensure alignment with the companys vision, objectives, and core values\ Ability to stand on feet for a 10+ hour shift, able to lift 40 lbs, bend, and squat\ Checking with the kitchen leader if anything else is needed before clocking out on a shift
