Butler Ag Aftermarket Sales Data Analyst in Fargo, North Dakota

As the Data Analyst for our Aftermarket Sales Team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data to uncover meaningful insights that can be used to drive decision-making and solve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and continual learning, and the ability to approach complex problems with creativity and resourcefulness. The Data Analyst position is based out of our Corporate office located in Fargo, North Dakota, and is not available for remote work at this time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including analysis of industry forecasts on a regular basis, based on quantitative & qualitative analysis.

  • Support organizational project initiatives as it relates to data analysis. Advise on business implications and recommend changes to initiatives or projects.

  • Build reports and dashboards to help the organization understand progress and trends of key strategic initiatives and projects.

  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to support new and on-going initiatives. Collaborate with business functions to identify and prioritize opportunities for performance optimization.

  • Assist in data collection.

  • Assist in data quality initiatives.

  • Train users to utilize reporting and decision-making models

  • Quickly adapt to unfamiliar business contexts and assess untapped analytical potential.

  • Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience organizing and presenting data from various systems

  • High degree of fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and storytelling data and findings in presentations

  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and execution competencies.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Critical thinking and communication skills.

  • Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.

  • Data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Understanding relational database query and ETL tools, Excel, Google Analytics etc.

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to meet company insurability guidelines.
