Job Title: Lead Assembly Technician
Job Description
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for leading the assembly team in putting together beet harvest equipment. This will be a working lead role and the candidate will be expected to perform all of the following while managing the team.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and understand assembly blueprints to build harvest equipment to completion
Use power tools and torque tools to assemble equipment
Operate overhead crane to maneuver parts into place safely
Install discs onto tillage equipment
Pull inventory as needed from storage locations
Maintain a clean work environment at the end of each shift
Essential Skills
Experience with assembly
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
Mechanical skills
Ability to use power tools and hand tools
Familiarity with torque tools
Ability to work independently off blueprints to build beet harvest equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with robotics
Knowledge of production and lean manufacturing
Installation and finishing skills
Ability to work under equipment and in tight places
Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
Strong communication skills to work coherently with other assemblers
Ability to communicate any bottlenecks with engineers

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, North Dakota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
