Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Evaluates written data such as job orders, product specifications, and operations sheets, parts and materials inventory lists, and compiles the information into weekly and monthly progress and forecast reports. - Uses data to monitor workload capacity of assembly lines and confers with production management regarding issues that could affect the on-time delivery of products to customers. - Coordinates production plans and schedules with manufacturing. - Provides data as required to the organization to assist in forecasting, estimating, and scheduling of goods in process and need for future orders. - Analyzes inventory reports and surplus stock lists to determine the need for improvement in control methods; directs the initiation of corrective measures to ensure inventory balance. - Collaborates with Production and Purchasing to ensure smooth flow of materials and to resolve any issues affecting production schedules. - Determines work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedites workflow. - Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree required along with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing and/or warehouse setting.
