The Pre-Weigher is responsible for accurately weighing and measuring raw materials according to production specifications. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and consistency of our pharmaceutical products. The Pre-Weigher will work closely with the production team and quality control to ensure all materials are prepared in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. Responsibilities
Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to batch records and production specifications.
Verify the quality and quantity of materials before weighing and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Maintain precise records of materials used, including lot numbers, weights, and quantities.
Operate scales and other measuring equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function.
Label and package pre-weighed materials in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Assist in inventory management by tracking the usage of raw materials and reporting discrepancies.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to the manufacturing area.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pre-weighing area to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with GMP standards.
The essential functions of this role include:
