Job description

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations. This includes inventory control, logistics, purchasing, returns, reordering, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives. If you have a strong background in supply chain management in health care or hospitals and are passionate about driving efficiency and cost savings, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process - Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans that meet customer demand - Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency - Utilize data analysis tools such as SQL to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance - Identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives - Oversee the implementation of new systems or processes to enhance supply chain operations - Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and increase productivity - Purchasing material with the best quality at the least possible cost - Return and reordering management - Managing the best relationship with vendors and finding alternatives for vendors.

Experience: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a healthcare field (Master's degree preferred) - Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices - Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and tools - Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as SQL - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving common goals - Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
