JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a bachelor\'s degree in a
business or technology-related field preferred.
\
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three years of experience in fiber optic installation,
maintenance, and repair is preferred. Must have a strong knowledge of
fiber optic installation techniques, troubleshooting, emergency
restoration, and industry best practices. Experience in leading teams
and managing contractors is a plus, along with a background in inventory
management, cost analysis, and budget tracking.

MAJOR JOB TASKS:
- Lead and manage fiber technicians and contractors, assigning tasks,
setting priorities, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Develop project plans and allocate resources, ensuring timelines and
objectives are met.
- Ensure quality and compliance, conduct regular inspections and
maintaining industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting, resolving issues
quickly to minimize service disruptions.
- Manage inventory and equipment, tracking usage, ordering supplies,
and ensuring availability of materials.
- Conduct cost analysis and budget tracking, optimizing expenses while
maintaining service quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, tracking installations,
repairs, and contractor performance.
- Collaborate with the training team, developing diagrams and
technical documentation as needed.
- Report project status and challenges to leadership, ensuring
transparency and continuous improvement.
- Enforce safety protocols and industry regulations, fostering a
culture of safety and accountability.

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

- External-Engages with customers, the general public, contractors,
vendors, and other cooperatives/utilities to coordinate fiber
installation, maintenance, and repair services while ensuring a high
level of customer satisfaction.
- Internal-Collaborates with department personnel, supervisors, and
other teams through in-person, telephone, electronic, and written
communication to support operational efficiency and project
coordination.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to operate all equipment normally found in an office
environment and will be required to attend forklift training. Must
have a valid driver\'s license without violation, which would
prohibit insurability.
- The Fiber Installation and Repair Supervisor must be highly
organized with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities to
manage workloads, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure
accuracy. Effective leadership and teamwork are essential for
guiding technicians and collaborating with staff, cus tomers, and
contractors. Strong interpersonal skills are required for clear
communication and relationship management. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office, tablet operation, and electronic mapping systems is
necessary to support daily operations.
- Normal office conditions, some irregular hours may be required.
Frequent daytime travel across the entire service territory for
installation inspection and subscriber and building issues.
Occasional overnight travel may be required. After an offer of
employment has been made, a physical examination is required which
will include drug testing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear; and frequently required to stand, walk, use
hands to finger, handle, or feel; occasionally required to sit, reach
with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl,
taste, or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to
