Who We Want

We are seeking an* Inside Sales Support Representative* for our Miller Fabricated Systems Division at our Thompson Road location in Fenton, MI.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Initiates and follows sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the S&E including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging complex and detailed travel plans.
  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the S&E Department and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.
  • CRM/ File Management
    • Pull Original Issue Documents and complete necessary information.
    • Download drawings into the review folder.
    • Record bid dates on bid date calendar.
    • Generate Customer Relationship Management reports for the department and update sell prices, win probabilities, and ship date.
  • Order Processing 
    • Create and organize order files.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as may be directed by the Miller Industries management.

What Requirements Are Needed

  • Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university.  Equivalent experience considered and at least three (2) years outside sales experience in a manufacturing or construction related industry. Structural Steel and/or Conveyance experience preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered. 

Ability to thrive in a face-paced environment and manage many customers and challenges at one time.

Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with customers.

Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently.

Must have good people skills and an appreciation for relationship selling.

Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and knowledge of computer-based CRM tools.
