Compensation:
- $108,426 to $149,825 annually
Role Overview:
The Information Technology Manager designs, develops, implements, and manages Cutsforth's information technology infrastructure, including computer application systems, computer and communication systems, network and related systems. They also establish and maintain information technology policies, procedures, and standards. The IT Manager aligns IT processes with current and future business objectives by maturing and documenting technologies and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management and Business Administration:
- Develop and execute IT strategies, set performance goals, and measure outcomes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Delegate tasks effectively and lead the team through project execution, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Foster team development by providing support and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for reporting to management, highlighting key performance metrics and project statuses.
- Maintain and manage the IT catalog, ensuring budget adherence and cost-effective resource allocation.
- Technology Management:
- Manages hardware and software inventory and procurement, including audits to ensure hardware and software comply with standards, policies, and configuration guidelines; hardware and software maintenance; evaluation and purchase of new hardware and software; and negotiation with vendors for software licenses.
- Monitors information technology infrastructure and related system operations and assesses potential risks in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
- Implements recovery and backup procedures.
- Researches and evaluates new technology, techniques, threats, and industry best practices to optimize efficiency and usability and minimize vulnerabilities.
- Monitors network and system performance to ensure that operations are within established standards and develops recommendations for enhancements to improve operations and increase system capabilities.
- Performs hardware and software upgrades to ensure all systems are up-to-date.
- Configures and maintains key technology and communications including firewalls, internet connections, remote access, etc.
- Establishes and maintains information technology policies, procedures, and standards.
- Aligns IT processes with current and future business objectives by maturing and documenting technologies and processes.
- Technical Support:
- May assist staff with diagnosing and solving computer equipment problems.
- Troubleshoots and resolves server issues, networks, remote access, email, and desktop solutions.
- Plans for and responds to service outages and other workstation or server problems, diagnosing and correcting the problems.
- Technology Training:
- Evaluates training requirements for current and new IT solutions, develops appropriate training materials, and provides staff training.
- Dev lops and presents equipment and policy training to staff and end users.
- Solutions Administration:
Developsanalytical and reporting tools, feasibility studies, and recommendations for enhancements to the information technology infrastructure and its supporting hard
