As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the in-the-field sampling and testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials. Technicians will be required to complete and submit written reports daily. A company vehicle will be provided specifically for travel to and from scheduled job sites. Technicians will require sufficient ability to find project locations by address and/or direction.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform observations and testing.
Write detailed reports summarizing test results and observations.
Inform field representatives of observation and test results.
Communicate with managers, show commitment as a team player, and organize work and manage time effectively.
Required Qualifications:
At least five years of construction materials testing experience
ACI Field Grade I and ATTI Field certifications
Additional certifications, such as ACI Concrete Strength Testing, ATTI Soils/Ag, ATTI Asphalt, ICC Special Inspection, EIFS, Post-Tension), or demonstrated competence to qualify the individual at this level
Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites, must be able to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly
Ability to read and write, ability to use a computer
Prior experience as a field/engineering technician
