Job duties: The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating communication and efforts between the owner, architect, subcontractors, and vendors for railroad signal modernization that involve the installation of electronics equipment, wiring, and testing in new maintenance signal houses located at railroad junctions; Tracking and managing the overall job progress and schedule, in order to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the clients’ specifications; Tracking the work performed and quantities installed, and prepares daily progress reports; Tracking the flow of critical information; Summarizing key accomplishments and open items for upper management; Maintaining project logs; Coordinating worksite activities; Maintaining plan drawings, revision drawings, and as-built drawings; Preparing monthly verification reports; Reviewing quality assurance/control standards; Conducting periodic inspections at project sites to ensure project standards and specifications are met; Reviewing and interpreting documents such as operations and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders; Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements for each project. Requirements: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, related or equivalent & 1 year of experience working as a project manager, project coordinator or similar role. Prior experience must include creating and managing project schedules, and using industry software, like MS Project or Smartsheet.
