As our General Manager – you will report directly to the President of DF&H (Diversified Food & Health) North America. On a given day, you may: Lead and advocate for Operational Excellence projects across the site. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to implement lean practices, 80-20 methodology, and other efficiency-driven approaches. Establish goals to measure operational performance, track progress, and guide accountability together with the Regional Director of Ops and the site Director of Ops Assume full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the site, setting financial targets, and developing strategies to achieve revenue growth, cost control, and profitability. Analyze financial data, identify areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement, and implement action plans to exceed financial goals. Manage budgets, ensuring resource allocation and cost management. Collaborate with teams to align operational strategies with financial goals. Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis efforts to prevent future safety incidents. Promote a safety culture by engaging employees at all levels and encouraging safety awareness Lead a high-performing team, providing clear direction and coaching to guide personal and collective success. Foster employee development and talent management programs to build a experienced and motivated workforce. Create succession plans to ensure leadership continuity and talent pipeline development. Requirements for the role Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering or related field 10 + years of experience in manufacturing leadership responsibility, multi-site responsibility, and leading teams Travel & Location You will be onsite reporting to our Lakeland, FL facilities and we ask that you travel approximately 20% of the time.
