Well established power utility organization is seeking an Electronics Maintenance Field Support Technician for a contract, possible temp to hire role in Forsyth, GA. You'll be instrumental in the seamless functioning of the departments' diverse disciplines including metering, SCADA, fiber optics, wireless communication and cyber security compliance.

responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and program/test equipment
Support EM Field Technicians with shipping, receiving, and parts management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the electronics maintenance shop/warehouse
Troubleshoot and repair intelligent electronic devices
Gain proficiency in electronics, communications networking technology, and Fiber Optic transport network roles through on-the-job training
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Electronics and/or Telecommunications, BS degree a plus
Ability to pass a NERC CIP personnel risk assessment screening
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in installing/maintaining three phase metering equipment, telecommunications equipment, or SCADA related equipment
2 years of experience using miscellaneous hand tools, multimeter, fiber termination/test set, and industry-related test equipment
