Description:
We are looking for a Test Technician in the Fort Collins area. This individual will be responsible for setting up cameras and testing quality. A hardware technician with a strong knowledge of schematics and wiring will assist engineers in capturing and processing images. You will be responsible for running test procedures, not necessarily writing them. This is a very hands on role in which you spend 50/50 working with software and hardware.
Responsibilities Include:
-Assist with camera module testing
-Test station development and automation
-Sort camera modules based on test data
-Provide camera modules to various internal groups based on test data
-Assist with image quality benchmarking
-Assist with implementing subjective image quality evaluation
-Maintain organization of camera module test data, weekly image quality updates, and software updates
-Assist with maintaining lab infrastructure.
-Duties may include, but are not limited to: Installing new equipment as needed; Keeping the lab in operation; Image quality target calibration; Assisting with equipment repair as needed and sending out equipment for calibration
-Imatest and/or other Image analysis software
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS or AS in Electrical, Hardware or Mechanical engineering
Capstone w/ Mechatronics preferred but not required
Ability to understand basic test methods, lab set up, camera operation (lack of school lab time can be overcome by Internship or Lab-based Capstone)
Ability to read schematics, wire harnesses, and hardware troubleshooting knowledge
Baseline Knowledge:
Standard lap tools
Some scripting knowledge (MatLab/Python)
Power Supply
Standard Soldering Skill Set Preferred
Command Line Knowledge
Critical analysis skills (detail & project level)
