Purpose and Scope
As Tolmar's global leader of Accounts Payable, this role is responsible
for designing and optimizing processes that will enable scalability with a
growing company focused on internal controls, efficiency, global
standardization, best practices and technology solutions. This role is
responsible for developing and maintaining KPI reporting to ensure that the
function is operating effectively, supporting working capital objectives,
and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has
demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities as well as the
ability to handle projects under pressure and tight deadlines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain global standardized operational accounting processes.
Partner with stakeholders across the business to lead continuous
improvement, change management and system implementation to improve process
efficiency.
Implement best practices and technology solutions to drive efficiency in
financial operations.
Subject matter expert of Tolmar ERP for Accounts Payable.
Develop and manage the maintenance of Key Performance Indicators to drive
process improvements, productivity, efficiency enhancements and identify
training or workload balancing needs.
Develop and maintain robust internal controls and compliance requirements,
support appropriate segregation of duties and compliance reporting.
Manage and implement Ocular Character Recognition and Robotic Process
Automation.
Manage Accounts Payable across international entities.
Manage the preparation and review of financial reporting and metrics including
aging reports and forecasting.
Key Partner to Treasury organization to support in managing cash and meeting
working capital objectives.
Review, recommend and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Manage the processing, review and reporting of employee expense reports in
Concur for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Provide
recommendations to senior leadership to enhance expense reporting compliance.
Lead escalations process on behalf of business process owners to resolve
issues or concerns with vendors or expense reporting.
Select, hire, and actively manage employees. Train and evaluate employees
to enhance their performance, development, and work product.
Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and examine work for accuracy,
presentation, and conformance to policies.
Perform various other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable with demonstrated success in system
improvement, design and automation.
Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures as it relates to
Accounts Payable.
Strong working knowledge of transactional accounting processes outside of
Accounts Payable.
History of leading and managing a team for optimal performance.
Self-starter with strong interest in career growth including broader
responsibility beyond Accounts Payable.
Superb attention to detail as well as ability to assess big picture results.
Experience with multi-currency invoice processing, payments and receipts.
Strong background in ERP system and subledger reconciliation.
Experience managing and implementing Ocular Character Recognition and Robotic
Process Automation.
Experience with Concur Expense and Concur travel applications preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as ability to
succinctly present and communicate findings and information.
Outstanding communication skills; ability to advocate for recommendations to
senior leadership.
Ability to plan, organize, and assign accounts payable workload; provide
direction and develop team skill sets by coaching, mentoring, knowledge
sharing and reinforcing best practices.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced and growth-oriented culture.
Strong drive to implement change and effectively manage multiple projects
thro gh completion.
Strong knowledge of computerized accounting software, including proficiency
with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and all other Microsoft Office
applications.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Seven or more years' experience in Accounting position.
Five or more years' experience in a supervisory capacity required.
Experience in a high-volume corporate environment preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Core pay range: $95,000 - $105,000
