[CARPENTER II *[Definition:[ Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled carpentry work and technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. 1. Any duties listed for Carpenter I.
2. Perform finish carpentry from beginning to end including new construction, maintenance, and repair.
3. Perform stain-grade trim work.
4. Hang doors; machine doors and install door hardware.
5. Construct and install window frames and door frames.
6. Use optical and laser leveling equipment.
7. Layout stairs and common rafters.
8. Follow oral instructions.
9. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

[Qualifications: [Knowledge of:[ principles, procedures and terminology used in the construction trade; tools and materials used in carpentry; methods and procedures used in building construction; materials and equipment used in carpentry trades; occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
