Army Installation Management Command Recreation Aid (Range/Paintball Operation) NF-01 in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia

Summary This position is located at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA - Outdoor Recreation. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to assist in the operation of an Outdoor Recreation Program: Registers patrons, collects usage fees, issues targets and sales ammunition and other resale items.Provides instructions on the rules and safety of the range and paintball fields. Monitors patrons for compliance with rules and safety and corrects violations immediately. Assists patrons by pulling for skeet, trap or 5-stand. Unloads supplies and stocks clay target machines. Helps maintain assigned area/areas in clean and orderly condition sweeping, moping, dusting, removing trash, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: *This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. 1. Applicant must be 18 year of age. 2. Possess a valid motor vehicle license. 2. Must possess good customer service skills. 3. Knowledge and ability to use a computer and cash register. HIGHLY PREFERRED are applicants who possess the minimum qualifications above AND: Highly qualified individuals will have at least 6 months experience performing related duties described above to include knowledge of paintball and clay target sports. The experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered a highly preferred candidate. *Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection. WORKING CONDITIONS: Duties are performed indoor and outdoor. Duties involve everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of recreation activities. May be exposed to inclement weather when assisting patrons on the ranges. Proper clothing is to be worn for weather temperatures. Heated building is available for warm-up. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. PCS Costs: Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not paid, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials: This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials (on OCONUS Template, will read as "Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials): Overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
