DX Spectrum Administrator – Lead/SME responsibilities and functions

  • Provide O&M support to all instances of DX Spectrum deployed throughout the GEF environment.

  • Manage and maintain DX Spectrum users across various locations to include creation, updating, and deletion.

  • Create, review, edit, distribute, and maintain TTPs and SOPs as related to the DX Spectrum.

  • Provides a knowledge base related to DX Spectrum to GEF personnel regarding configurations and usage.

  • Assist with design and deployment plans as needed per customer and mission requirements.

  • Oversee management of GEF DX Spectrum deployment supporting various NEC locations.

  • Installation of Spectrum application for various GEF/NEC locations per mission requirements.

  • Communicate will other team leadership concerning manning requirements, personnel issues impacting operations, and completion of all assigned tasks.

  • Work with vendor engineers for DX Spectrum issues requiring escalation outside of the organization.

  • Submit, track, and monitor Spectrum issues and requests with Service Now incidents.

  • SME for providing tier 2 support and triage.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Experience:

●7 years of related experience or equivalent education.

●5+ years working with DX Spectrum applications

Certifications: 8570 Certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP) AND Computing environment certification in either ITIL, Windows Server, VMware, SharePoint, Network+ CD, Project+ or similar technology within 6 months of hire.

Required Technical Skills:

●DX Spectrum experience, Linux or Windows OS knowledge, understanding of network topologies, knowledgeable of SNMPv3 functionality

● Security Clearance Level: SECRET

● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, time management

● Location: On Customer Site Fort Huachuca

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
