Army Installation Management Command Work Reception Technician (OA) in Fort Knox, Kentucky

Summary About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Public Works located at Fort Knox, KY. Perform a variety of administrative/technical and associated typing/office automation duties related to the processing of work management data in systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), with other data base applications and web based information systems. Responsibilities Serve as focal point for processing PWO's and Work Requests through operation of work reception customer service area. Conduct detailed studies in various systems for trends, efficiency's and errors. Perform office automation work and Data Entry for various DPW programs (GFEB's, ArMA, Builder, ISR, ECT...) Training coordinator responsible for tracking and coordination of training for all of DPW. Develops GFEB's PR's as needed for various contracts and purchases. Review monthly utility invoices for a variety of provided services throughout post of accuracy. Process through FB60 transactions. Specialized Experience: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in the following. Accept, prioritize and approve work initiation for all types of work order requests. Refers non-routine work order requests, such as those with a short suspense, to the manager or specialist for approval of work initiation. Determine reimbursement status and requirement for work requests. Identifies problems or operational deviations from guidance and regulations and recommends corrective action. Prepares statistical reports and coordinates the accumulation of data and assures data is accurate and performs calculation and processing to input information to the required reports. Receive visitors, incoming telephone calls, and correspondence. Performs general clerical duties. Prepares forms and correspondence for signature by Manager. OR One full year of graduate level education that directly applies to the type of work to be performed. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts). Or Have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have more than one year, but less than the required education in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education above 1 year by 18, and add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.)
