The Payroll Specialist is important in helping Salud Family Health achieve its
focused mission of caring for low-income, medically underserved populations.
As a non-profit organization, effective and efficient in distributing
company compensation is a key factor to ongoing operations.
We offer:
Starting Wage - 21.70 to $24.95 per hour
Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

The Payroll Specialist position will handle all aspects related to the
compensation of Salud Family Health organization relating to the payroll cycle
and ensure they are performed in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner.
Supervision Received:
Works under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
Previous payroll experience is preferred
Licensure:
None
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll manager
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field
Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (e.g. UKG
Payroll Software) and databases
Must work well with the patient care team
Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Follows procedures for the electronic health records system
Performs other duties as assigned
