As a Project Engineer on our K-12 AACPS team in Anne Arundel County, MD, you will support a team that oversee all work completed by contractors and consultants is of the highest quality with safety being our biggest priority. The Project Engineer will perform a variety of assignments involved in the coordination of various engineering, construction, quality assurance, purchasing, scheduling, cost control, and start up aspects on one or more CM-multiple prime contractor school projects.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree related to Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture

  • Familiar with submittal review process and able to interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Must be proficient in MS Office products with the ability to learn how to use project controls software (i.e. Prolog, Primavera, PlanGrid, etc.)

  • Able to pass background check

  • Able to take part in safety committee walks, daily report card, and pre-task planning

  • Physical Requirements: Position requires candidate at a minimum to have physical ability to walk uneven construction surfaces, climb ladders/scaffold, and carry at a minimum 25 pounds for 50'
