Parts Professional
Description
We are looking for a talented onsite Parts Professional to join our team specializing in Service for our branch in Fort Myers, Florida!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Under moderate or direct supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch parts in the local branch, checking for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
Perform other duties under moderate supervision that may include managing stock levels, shipping and receiving parts, warehouse activities, inventory management related tasks, core processing or other parts related duties as assigned by management.
Carries out customer parts counter duties under moderate supervision including receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk in customers, completing all paperwork and processing it accordingly, handling cash, check and credit card transactions.
Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
Communicate with internal and external customers by phone and in person at local branch.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extend such experience meets applicable regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills.
Cummins retail counter or equivalent level experience required.
Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse.
This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
