| Job Description: | SUMMARY |
| | |
| | Working under the direction of |
| | the Manager VI - |
| | Aquatics-Scheduling-Community |
| | Events or his appointee incumbent |
| | supervises the maintenance |
| | operation of municipal outdoor |
| | swimming facilities to create and |
| | maintain a safe and fun leisure |
| | environment. The incumbent is |
| | expected to exercise good |
| | judgment, independence, |
| | initiative, and professional |
| | expertise in conducting |
| | day-to-day operations. All work |
| | duties and activities must be |
| | performed in accordance with the |
| | City safety rules and operating |
| | regulations, policies and |
| | procedures as well as federal, |
| | state, and local regulations. |
| | |
| | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND |
| | RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the |
| | ability to interact with the |
| | public, City incumbents, and |
| | outside agencies with patience, |
| | tact, respect, and |
| | professionalism and the |
| | following. Other duties may be |
| | assigned. |

| | - Prepares pool for season |
| | openings; |
| | - Supervises Aquatic |
| | operations, Aquatic Managers |
| | and staff; |
| | - Determines and provides for |
| | supplies needed; |
| | - Monitors pool safety |
| | including equipment, |
| | procedures, repairs, and |
| | corrects unsafe conditions; |
| | - Reports equipment needs, |
| | repairs and replacement; |
| | - Monitors/Adds chemicals; |
| | - Prepares end of season |
| | facility evaluations; |
| | - Closes pools for season. |
| | |
| | MARGINAL FUNCTIONS |

| | Performs other duties as |
| | required. |
