Department highlights:

Our department is Volunteer and Guest Services. We assist staff by providing non-clinical support through patient and guest wayfinding, information, deliveries, and any other non-clinical support in the entire hospital which is made up of 6 bed towers, 3 professional buildings or locations, and a free standing ER. Our goal is to provide the consumer a great patient/family/guest experience. We have a great working environment.

Here’s What You Need

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

One (1) year customer service experience required

Skills

Answer phones, customer service skills

What You Will Do

  • Answer incoming telephone calls for patient information and provide walk-up guest with needed patient information.

  • Provides visitors with patient information and appropriate directions.

  • Requires ability to communicate through listening and verbal skills.

  • May require walking visitors to areas to hospital.

  • Requires knowledge of facility.

  • Increased customer satisfaction

  • Communicate information and maintain positive relationship with volunteers and staff.

  • Train new volunteers when needed.
