Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician with expertise in test equipment and hardware-in-loop (HIL) systems to join our team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for installing, debugging, and maintaining computer PC equipment, creating wiring harnesses, performing soldering tasks, and assisting in various engineering activities under the direction of the Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical test equipment, computer software installation, wiring test stands, and basic electronics knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in debugging electrical test equipment issues and maintaining test equipment.
Proficiency in computer skills including software installation and basic troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with wiring test stands, soldering, and installation of hardware and software cards.

Perform soldering and circuit board repairs as needed.
Assist the Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager in various engineering tasks and projects.
Maintain accurate records of equipment configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Basic understanding of Python scripting for automation (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with tools such as soldering irons, crimping tools, and basic electronic measurement instruments.
