Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr Automation Developer in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is within the cybersecurity industry and will involve designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to enhance the security posture of our organization. You will be working closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and develop automated solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Analyze existing processes, identifying areas where automation can improve efficiency or reduce risk.
• Develop scripts and tools for automating security operations tasks such as log analysis, incident response, and threat hunting.
• Monitor system performance, ensuring that automated solutions are functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot issues related to automation processes or tools.
• Collaborate with other teams, ensuring that automation solutions are properly integrated into existing systems.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for automation.
• Develop documentation related to automation processes and procedures. Requirements • Applicant must have proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, CSS, and Node.js.
• Demonstrated experience in automation development is required.
• Familiarity with GitHub and the ability to use it for version controlling is necessary.
• Must be adept at designing and documenting procedures and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills are required to identify and resolve issues.
• Experience with component selection in the context of automation development is necessary.
• Knowledge of REST API for backend development is required.
• Proficiency in working with operating systems such as Windows OS and Linux is necessary.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud computing is required.
• Knowledge of laptop hardware, cyber security, and Mac computers is essential.
• Familiarity with React.js and React for user interface development is necessary.
• Must have the ability to streamline processes for improved efficiency and productivity.
