Description We are offering an engaging role in the retail industry for a meticulous AP/AR Clerk based in Natick, Massachusetts. The primary focus of this role will be to manage various aspects of Accounts Receivable, with a significant emphasis on recording and reconciling commissions. This role provides the potential for growth within the team based on experience, performance, and development.
Responsibilities:
• Posting, processing, and reconciling all commission statements in the MCS system
• Manipulating spin reports to bill for commissions and processing customer credits in the MCS system
• Creating bills for Spin Reports, Retail Services, Events, and Demos
• Maintaining spreadsheets to track payment status for commissions, spins, and billings
• Conducting ad hoc financial analysis as required by the team
• Maintaining an excellent attendance and punctuality record
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel skills including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, macros, formatting, and tables
• Employing strong math and analytical skills to manage accounting functions
• Leveraging accounting software systems and QuickBooks for data entry and to address discrepancies in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Working effectively both independently and within a team environment, and maintaining discretion and confidentiality. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an AP/AR Clerk role or similar accounting position
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems such as QuickBooks
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Strong Data Entry skills with a keen eye for Discrepancies in financial records
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
