Salary $85,000-95,000
The Accounts Receivable Contracts/Grants Manager oversees the company’s receivable process for contracts/grants billing and analysis, including revenue calculations, generating invoices, collecting outstanding payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and supervising a team of accounts receivable accountants. Additional responsibilities include contract preparation and supporting other Accounts Receivable functions.
The position is fully onsite.

Responsibilities
Responsible for supervision and billing of complex grants and cost reimbursement contracts with the goal of billing all appropriate expenses in a timely manner.
Review and/or prepare monthly billing spreadsheets to evaluate grant spending for any over and under expenditures.
Provide support and collaboration with program management teams as it relates to contract and grant spending and revenue recognition.
Review and evaluate prepared invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
Monitor Accounts Receivable schedule to make sure invoices are completed by their required due dates.
Help create and implement standard billing procedures for various types of contracts.
Assist in preparation of contracts for submission to various funding agencies
Provide financial grant reporting to Advancement when required
Take corrective action to resolve issues and problems; recommend procedural improvements.
Attends and actively participates in supervision and staff meetings.
Provide support to the Director, Contracts & Grants.
Perform all duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications
B.S. in Business and 7+ years of accounting experience in receivables or general accounting preferably in non-profit, human services and/or health care environment.
Strong Excel skills: Ability to use spreadsheets efficiently, perform calculations, use advanced formulas and automate tasks.
Ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement in accounts receivable performance
Proficiency in accounting software applications (experience with Business Central and Adaptive workday is a plus).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to interact with all levels of internal staff and external parties as required.
Must be well-organized and willing to learn and take initiative.
High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team environment.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
