MassEnergize Community Engagement Program Coordinator in Framingham, Massachusetts

Responsibilities: The Community Engagement Program Coordinator will manage two exciting programs and provide support to the 25 communities using MassEnergize tools. Solar Para Todos: This innovative initiative supports low income and Portuguese and Spanish speaking residents of Framingham, MA to enroll in a community solar electricity program. Community solar subscriptions provide residents with a significant discount on their electric bill and help support our growing clean energy economy. The Coordinator will work with the City of Framingham and local partners to promote community solar subscriptions, train and support local energy ambassadors, and evaluate program outcomes. Accelerating Community Resilience: This project addresses the impacts of extreme heat on elders and supports resilience initiatives in the communities of Wayland, Weston, Ashland, Natick, and Framingham, MA. The Coordinator will manage project planning, organize training sessions for community outreach liaisons, develop outreach materials in multiple languages, convene multi-town meetings with key stakeholders, and support program evaluation activities. MassEnergize Community Support: The Coordinator will provide support to the 20+ communities MassEnergize works with including training to use our community engagement software and outreach tools. The Community Engagement Program Coordinator will travel regularly to the participating communities in the Metrowest region of Boston to provide onsite support and coaching but will work remotely for administrative tasks. This position works under the direction of, and will receive support and management from, the MassEnergize Executive Director. Minimum Qualifications: * Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in cross-cultural environments * Experience managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders simultaneously * Self directed with ability to initiate tasks and keep projects on schedule * Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills * Proficiency in standard office software - Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office * Comfortable with learning and using web-based software * Ability to travel locally to visit participating communities * Linguistic and/or cultural proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish Desirable Qualifications: * Familiarity with Framingham, Natick and other Boston Metrowest communities * Passion for community engagement, environmental or clean energy issues * Familiarity with customer relations management (CRM) software e.g. Salesforce, HUB Spot, Neon * Experience with social media campaigns and outreach * Experience in the clean energy sector * Native fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish
