Frito Lay Diesel Mechanic - Entry (non-DOT)- 418805 in Frankfort, Indiana

$ 3,000 sign bonus (Paid out in three installments across the first 365 days of employment or tool equivalent)

  • Schedule and prioritize work: Preventative Maintenance Inspections, Proactive/Follow-up repairs, Demand work (VCRs and Failures)
  • Examples of daily follow-up/demand work: Brakes, U- Joints/Bearings, Steering/Suspension, Starting/Charging, DPF Systems/ Emissions, Drivability diagnosis, Light Engine repair/ Primarily hanging parts; Injectors, and hydraulic

What We Maintain: Volvo- VNL, VNM, and VNR / Freightliner Cascadia, Volvo and Freightliner CNGs Trailers - Straight Frame and EVAN (drop deck), Electric and Diesel Yard Spotters

This is an entry-level position. Here are our minimum requirements for you to consider before filling out our application: * You are at least 18 years of age or older * You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off-shift * You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodation * You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation * You can work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation * You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without reasonable accommodation
