Position Description

ALCIVIA is looking for a Fuel Delivery Associate out of our Franskville, WI location to provide efficient and timely delivery to members while maintaining delivery vehicles, building customer relationships, and always putting safety first. Many of our drivers have been with us for decades. Essential Responsibilities:

• Daily on-time delivery of fuel to member tanks at homes, businesses, and farms

• Daily filling of fuel truck tank from bulk plant

• Oversee and maintain the safety of customer systems and equipment

• Build strong, positive, and long-lasting customer relationships

• Perform required pre-trip daily vehicle inspections and maintenance

• Maintain and care for delivery vehicle, ensuring regular preventative maintenance

• Maintain accurate delivery and customer records

• Support customer tank maintenance

• Help market and sell products and services

• Keep cab and cargo doors locked when not in use

• Always have a safety first approach

• Never use cell phones or other handheld devices while driving

• Drive defensively, slowly, and safely at all times

• Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible

• Help out in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows

• Other duties as assigned

• Operate trucks in a safe manner, obeying all traffic laws, and using defensive driving techniques

  Physical/Work Demands:

• Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time

• Occasionally must lift up to 50 pounds

• Work in outdoor conditions

• Drive safely in varying weather conditions

• Must be available to work varied and long hours in the busy season

• Regularly on call, especially during colder months

  Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

• Class A CDL preferred

• Clean driving record

• Tanker and Hazmat required

• Previous fuel delivery experience preferred
