Job Title: Product Manager
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Research and Development team. Our ideal candidate has experience in product management for Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) within the metal, paper, and automotive test stand markets. This position will define product requirements and roadmaps, perform market analysis, estimate ROIs, and support sales and marketing for the drive portfolio.
Responsibilities
Define product requirements and align technology with those requirements to develop market-leading products.
Work with hardware and software development teams to maintain product development schedules.
Solicit and incorporate customer and end-user feedback to continuously improve our products.
Support the sales organization with product datasheets and application notes for various use cases.
Champion new ideas and features, regardless of size.
Lead marketing activities related to the products both online and in-person.
Own the New Product Development (NPD) process and documentation for each product.
Collaborate with system integrators to utilize the products in their solutions.
Execute cost reduction programs on existing products.
Make end-of-life decisions for aging products.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME). A Master’s degree and/or MBA is a strong plus.
Understanding of electrical motor control theory and its applications.
Strong interpersonal skills to focus on important topics, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening) to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of professionals.
Experience supporting budget planning with ROI calculations.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Organized with the ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to effectively influence others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of server power supplies, industrial power supplies, bitcoin farming, power farms, or fuel cell electrolyzes.
Familiarity with terms such as 'form factor' and 'hot swappable'.
Ability to create business plans and collaborate on investment decisions.
Experience writing specification plans for software and hardware development.
Work Environment
This role requires a business-minded individual who can think outside the box. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create new product lines or divisions, contributing to the company's upward trajectory. The role includes creating business plans, deciding on project investments, and writing detailed specification plans for software and hardware development. Keywords relevant to this role include industrial power supply and industrial power converters.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
Full benefits- health, dental, vision, Life, $401K, etc. Company shut down between Christmas and New Years. Bonus potential included in role.
