Trinity Health Clinical Assistant, Wound & Hyperbaric (EOC) Day in Fresno, California

Description:

Reporting to the Supervisor Wound & Hyperbaric, Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine, this position is responsible for all clerical/receptionist duties and performing patient care activities. This will include personal and comfort needs of patients, assisting

members of the health care team, responding to patient and family needs/request, and maintaining a clean, safe, cost effective environment.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  2. Certification from an accredited nurse aid or medical assistant training program or two years' experience in an acute or skilled care

facility in a direct patient care position is required.

  1. Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively/professionally with the medical center staff, patients,

family, visitors, and physicians under routine and stressful situations are required.

  1. Completion of a medical terminology course or demonstrated functional competency is required.

  2. Computer data entry experience is required.

  3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

  4. Medical Assistant (MA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (C N A) is strongly preferred

Pay Range:$19.08-26.72
