Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer - Senior to join our team in the Ft. Meade MD location. We’re looking for an experienced senior consultant to provide specialized strategic and technical knowledge of operations, policy, information technology systems, and training management processes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing thought leadership, strategic guidance, and critical insight into management issues to shape the content and delivery of innovative and impactful solutions for clients.
Participating in client meetings and leading strategic level presentations to clients.
Assisting the client with the mission and administrative activities involved in working with various mission partners such as the Cyber Workforce Advisory Workgroup and the DoD CIO.
Having a leadership role in managing complex projects and informing solution design with your specialized expertise.
Working with the Program Manager in leading the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) team and their training development projects
Developing, updating and delivering training for classroom (post-COVID) and instructor-led virtual delivery using the DoD Teams collaboration platform and a virtual training environment (hypervisor).
Developing effective strategies for delivering complex technical, procedural, and regulatory content to adult learners in a wide audience of military, civilian, and contractor employees
Working with team members to ensure technical quality of the deliverables being produced prior to submission.
Experience with information technology and cybersecurity within the DoD to include datacenters and advanced networking technologies
Knowledge of the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) roles and the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) of the roles.
Two or more years of recent training experience
Knowledge of effective training development and delivery methodologies
One of the following: a commercial instructional certificate (e.g., CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer+, Microsoft Certified Technical Trainer), a degree in training and/or education, or a completion certificate or certification from a military service school (e.g., Navy Certified Master Training Specialist, Army MOS). A CTT+ certification may be obtained within 30 calendar days of hire.
Extensive experience with information technology and cybersecurity within the DoD
Advanced understanding of applying training development and delivery principles and approaches to training products and training delivery
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science related field of study preferred
Security Clearance Requirements:
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Need to be able to move rolling pelican cases containing student laptops and other equipment, weighing up to 105 pounds each
