Job Overview

As a CTS Business Analyst, you will have the exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions delivering solutions that can have significant impacts at iCIMS! As a part of the Corporate Technology and Security Technical Program Management team you’ll get the opportunity to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with various business and engineering teams to design and implement technology solutions. You will be an integral part of corporate systems change management and assist in project planning, identify process improvements, conduct feasibility studies, and ensure the alignment of technology initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Manager, various Business and Technology partners across the company, and the Vendor to support the identification, documentation, communication of either system process or implementation changes involving Automation or Artificial Intelligence towards enhanced efficiencies and productivity

  • Conduct business and technical analysis interfacing with various business teams to understand actual business needs.

  • Prioritize business needs, communicate, and obtain buy-in on prioritization across various levels of the organization.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with various business and engineering teams to design and implement technology solutions.

  • Document business value assessment (ROI), system data flows and workflows, and processes (current and potential target state).

  • Assist in project planning, identify process improvements, conduct feasibility studies, and ensure the alignment of technology initiatives with business goals.

  • Actively participate as part of the project team until full implementation is complete.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.

  • Technical writing and documentation skills to grasp abstract concepts in both written and verbal communication.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with various teams to gain buy-in and document common understanding towards achievable goals.

  • Ability to assist in the calculation of ROI.

  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with coursework or experience in Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Science

  • Expert in MS office suite, visio or other flowchart tool

  • Experience with PowerAutomate and BI and data visualization tools.

  • Ability to build dashboards and data visualizations leveraging BI tools.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools, AI technologies, processes, and controls

  • An understanding of corporate systems, networks, operating systems, cloud operations and associated technologies and services.

  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment.

  • A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative.

  • Team player.
