Job Description:

Reception: Must be courteous, professional, and helpful to clients, visitors and building staff.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Greet and assist visitors, internal personnel and clients in a helpful, professional and courteous

manner

Answer multiple lines, route calls, and take messages

Receive and assist The Hub visitors in contacting facility clients for appointments and meetings

Provide support for loading dock (note heavy lifting is not required)

Approve conference room bookings

Receive and log incoming UPS and FedEx packages not delivered to Hub tenants

Contact appropriate clients and assure they sign the log when they pick up deliveries

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Security: This position is the first line of security for the facility. Professional assertiveness skills are

required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Issue visitor badges and visitor parking passes

Assure that all individuals entering the building display a Gator1 card or visitor badge

Monitor activities in the lobby area and entrance doors for any potentially hazardous or suspicious

behaviors

Operational duties

Maintain a clean, safe and orderly reception, clerical and kitchen work area

Prepare coffee throughout the shift; keep supplies of condiments fully stocked and available to The

Hub tenants

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Assist with preparation and execution of various events held at The Hub

Other clerical or administrative duties as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$15/hr.

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and two years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or

vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to interact confidently and professionally in person and on the telephone

Ability to maintain a positive and courteous attitude at all times

Must be fully functional in a Microsoft Windows environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point,

and the internet) primarily for data entry and display design functions.

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Ability to prioritize assignments

Excellent verbal communication skills

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within office/facilities

environment
