Description
We are in search of a proficient Sr. Accountant to contribute to our operations in GALESBURG, Illinois, United States. The selected candidate will be tasked with a multitude of accounting responsibilities, including account and balance sheet reconciliation, as well as managing bank reconciliations and the general ledger. This role emphasizes the necessity of proficiency in various accounting software and tools.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure financial accuracy.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Manage bank reconciliations to verify the company's financial transactions.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• Record and verify journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Use NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks and operations.

Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sr. Accountant or in a related role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
• Ability to accurately perform Bank Reconciliations is necessary
• Expertise in maintaining and managing General Ledger is required
• Experience in preparing and tracking Journal Entries is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory
• Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary
• Familiarity with the usage of NetSuite is required
• Knowledge and experience in Oracle application is necessary
• Applicant must have experience in working with SAP
