Review and manage PO’s, Suppliers and deliveries to meet production requirements and monitor production at schedule attainment. Prepare reports and proactively support the engineering change process.Participate on continuous improvement teams. Position issues material work orders and purchase orders as setup in the MRP system. This role requires planning and ordering for different manufacturing product lines. This role may work as a member in a customer focused cross-functional work team with a matrixed supervisor structure.

  • Follow all safety and environmental initiatives to achieve world class performance.

  • Forecast customer demand and manage inventory levels based on demand

  • Release purchase orders to meet production schedules

  • Monitor order status and expedite orders as needed to ensure customer request date attainment

  • Prepare MRP reports on key metrics

  • Maintain supplier relationships

  • Review and analyze supplier metrics

  • Evaluate supplier performance and create improvement plans, to mitigate business risk

  • Management of the supporting "Purchasing" process to achieve the annual targets and to implement the medium- and long-term development targets in accordance with the single agenda

  • Purchasing and disposition of materials and services in compliance with purchasing guidelines; cost-optimized purchasing of all required goods and services in the right quality, in the right quantity and at the right time i. V m. Inventory targets

  • Complaint handling, negotiation and correspondence

  • Proactively request offers from suppliers and using internal e-tools.

  • Supplier negotiations including preparation, contract drafting and order processing as well as supplier evaluation

  • Work in coordination with the ENC Purchasing Category Manager to implement sourcing strategies at the site level

  • Work in Coordination to secure business and mitigate supply risks. Identify risk areas

  • Work and implement all the delegation categories at the site

  • Implementation of purchasing strategies of the procurement market in coordination with the site Purchasing manager, site Managers and global Purchasing team

  • Acting accordingly to the Purchasing & Internal Control policies

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics discipline preferred.

APICS or equivalent (CPM, CLTD, CSCP and/or SCOR) Minimum 1 certification.

Desired Skills:

Scheduling techniques (material requirement planning and purchasing);

Proficient in use of computers and spreadsheet software with experience with business systems (i.e. QAD, Microsoft Office), and other computer hardware and software.

Strong math, statistics and analytical thinking.

Must have strong knowledge of materials management and operation economics.

Experience in an ISO environment with WCM programs.

Must be a team player. Self-starter with a sense of urgency to meet commitments & deadlines with limited direct supervision.

Customer focus (internal and external) with good conflict resolution skill set.

Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communications skills essential - both written and verbal.

Effective use of analytical thought process and creativity to identify and implement solutions to issues that arise while maintaining site goals.

Awareness of the needs of others and utilization of interpersonal skills.
