Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in Garland, Texas

Description:

Industry leading manufacturer of an extensive range of transportation safety products such as barrier solutions for roads, highways, and bridges - primarily metalworking and assembly.

This location assembles different Trailer parts

1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm (OVERTIME REQUIRED)

Monday - Friday (OCCASIONAL SATURDAY'S REQUIRED)

  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH HAND & POWER TOOLS.

  • MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50+ LBS CONSISTENTLY

  • MUST HAVE STEEL TOE BOOTS.

  • Assembles different trailer components for the production process of metal highway/roads transportation products.

  • Remove and install components as part of the assembly process.

  • Working with aluminum and other metals/materials weighing 50+ lbs consistently.

  • Preferred but not required: ability to read drawings, blueprints/schematics and technical documentation.

  • Preferred but not required: ability to use MS Office and experience with MRP‐ type systems is beneficial.

Pay increase opportunity, amount TBD based on performance.
