Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for all mechanical and electrical repairs for tubing mill equipment. You will respond to repairs and breakdowns, troubleshoot motors, fuses, relays, gear boxes, encoders, and AB and Siemens PLCs. Additional duties include troubleshooting hydraulics, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical motors, air compressors, fans, and pumps. You will also fabricate, assemble, and test parts such as various pumps, valves, heaters, compressors, fire equipment, and other mechanical system parts. The role includes using CMMS to manage work orders and order parts, as well as performing other tasks such as painting, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs for tubing mill equipment.
Respond to repairs and breakdowns promptly.
Troubleshoot motors, fuses, relays, gear boxes, and encoders.
Troubleshoot AB and Siemens PLCs.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical motors, air compressors, fans, and pumps.
Fabricate, assemble, and test various mechanical system parts.
Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and order parts.
Perform additional duties such as painting, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Essential Skills
2-3 years of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
Hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
Computer knowledge with CMMS preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $64480.00/yr.
