Intel Software QA Test Engineer in Gdansk, Poland

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Coordinator to oversee the quality assurance process within our IPL organization. The QA Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing quality assurance activities across various projects, ensuring that our products/services meet the highest standards of excellence and comply with relevant regulations and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, food understanding of DevOps principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure product/service quality and compliance with standards - Coordinate and execute quality assurance activities, including functional and performance tests execution, analysis, defect tracking, and reporting - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, different root causes (in commits, 3rd party components, HW or something else), and corrective/preventive actions - Maintain documentation of quality assurance processes, procedures, and test results - Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, trends, and regulations related to quality assurance - Continuously improve quality metrics reporting (pass-rates, performance regressions charts etc.) - Continuously improve current automation and implement new features

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: - BSc or MSc in Computer Science with 2+ years of relevant QA experience - Hands-on experience/proficiency in the following areas: o Understanding of quality assurance and DevOps principles, methodologies, and tools o One or more scripting languages - Bash, PowerShell, Python preferred o CI/CD pipelines o Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration o Monitoring and observability tools e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Zabbix - Strong interpersonal, communication, and results-oriented skills - Great critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Effectively communicate in English

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
