Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry, located in Geismar, Louisiana. The role involves working closely with various departments to optimize business functions from an IT perspective, particularly in implementing and maintaining business systems.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with different department stakeholders to understand and address their IT needs
• Analyze existing business systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
• Implement, configure, and maintain business systems, ensuring they meet the organization's requirements
• Utilize knowledge of CMMS or EAP (IBM Maximo preferred) to enhance business operations
• Leverage skills in Business Analysis and Enterprise Asset Management to drive efficiency and effectiveness
• Resolve system issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide ongoing user support
• Conduct training sessions for users on new systems and updates
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure accurate functionality and data integrity
• Collaborate with IT team members to plan and execute system updates and enhancements
• Monitor the performance of business systems and report findings to IT management. Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or similar position in the chemicals manufacturing industry
• Proven expertise in Business Systems and Business Analysis
• Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Solid experience with IBM Maximo software
• Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Asset Management
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• detail oriented certifications in Business Analysis or related fields would be an advantage.
